Royale High's Glitterfrost Update is here!
With the Glitterfrost 2023 update came a new "lobby" realm: the Castle's Heart. The Castle's Heart is now the realm that players spawn in upon joining the game, which connects all currently available realms to act as a "teleport" hub. Classes and homework stations are now located here to keep everything in one place. It is also notable to say that with the Castle's Heart, the phase 3 New School realm, otherwise known as the Locker Courtyard, has been retired and will no longer be available in the Campus 3 school. Lockers and such have been moved to other realms so that content has not been lost. Most other realms have also been updated to no longer have references to the Locker Courtyard, including the new student corientation day introduction. With the new Glitterfrost update came one new shop item: the TTYL Chick skirt. In addition to this, older Glitterfrost items and Christmas wings are now available to purchase until the new year. A new set is also scheduled to drop on the 15th of December.
Royale High Story Mode Addition
As of the most recent update, new players that join the Castle Gardens realm now receive a popup for story mode chapter 1: Discovering You Have Magical Powers. According to the pop-up, story mode will be replayable in the future, and there will be additional chapters to the story beyond the entrance examinations on Corientation Day.
Now that the new update is out in the school, you may notice that the cafeteria and an unnamed realm on the east side of the school have "Coming Soon" messages rather than "Coming with launch phase #!" This could possibly be foreshadowing that realms will no longer follow an ordered release schedule and that whatever is ready next will be what comes out first. Note that the gymnasium is still said to release in phase ten.
The future of campus 3
Snowglobe Summit, a returning Glitterfrost realm, is not expected to return in 2023 or in the future. This is because Royale High now intends to celebrate most seasonal events in Campus 3 rather than in separate realms. Snowglobe Summit has become a cherished realm for many players. The decision to shift seasonal events to Campus 3 has left a part of the community disappointed, as some may miss the unique charm that the seasonal realms offered.
